Coalition Of Nigerian Youth Groups which comprises Northern Nigerian Peace Foundation NPF, Youth Assembly Of Nigeria YAN, Northern Youth Council Of Nigeria NYCN, Arewa Youth Consultative Council AYCC, Arewa Youth For Good Governance AYGG and National Association Of Nigerian Students NANS has endorsed and passed a vote of confidence on the Executive Chairman of Suleja Local Government Area, Hon. Abdullahi Shuaibu Maje to emerge as the next ALGON National President.
The Nigerian youths leaders said this in a statement released to the press.
The statement was signed by the National Coordinator, Amb. Zarewa Salisu Sageer, National Secretary, Comrade Sunny Idika, North Central Coordinator, Comr. Muhammad Yakubu Arigu, Coordinator, North East, Amb. Amos Ishaku, Coordinator North West, Amb. Adamu Kicinga, Coordinator South West, Amb Taiwo Adesanya, Coordinator South South, Comr. Cynthia Tony and Coordinator South East, Comr. Ezekiel Kalu
The Coalition noted that it has become absolutely imperative to urge Maje to contest as he is already the acting capacity and displays the zeal and commitments that reflect the yearnings and aspiration of Nigerian masses. His leadership style and foresight put him far ahead of other contenders.
According to the youths, Hon. Maje has the leadership acumen, capacity, dexterity and contacts to become the ALGON National President.
The statement read: “We the Coalition Of Nigerian Youth Leaders with the sole aim of advancing Good Governance, National Unity, Promotion of Religious and Tribal Tolerance for the peaceful existence and the overall advancement of socio-economic development of Nigeria.
“Out of our curiosity and positive thought, it has become absolutely imperative to write to pass a vote of confidence as well as endorse the Executive Chairman of Suleja Local Government Area, Hon. Abdullahi Shuaibu Maje as the next National President of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria(ALGON), as we believe that, he has the leadership qualities cum capacity to lead the association.”
“We believe that his personality, foresight, leadership style and experience will bring lots of development and prosperity to ALGON.”
“We are endorsing Hon. Maje because, he is a detribalized Nigerian with quintessential qualities of a visionary leader. We also believe that his undying love for the unity and development of Nigeria is what is needed to advance the aim and objectives of ALGON.”
