Jubilation in Eziafor Ohafia Community as Abia Deputy Speaker Commissions Market built by him

It was a joyous outing today as the Deputy Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly/Member Representing Ohafia South Constituency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu commissioned the new constructed Eziafor Daily (Evening) Market.

Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu had in the month past flagged of the construction of the market to enable the people of the community do their daily business transactions in a conducive environment and has today handed over the completed project to the community.

Speaking at the event, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu stated that the construction of the Daily (Evening) Market was in response to the plea made by the community for a conducive environment to do their daily businesses.

He noted that his love for the community had moved him to grade the road leading to the farmland in the community, attract a transformer, trained youths from the community in various skills as well as handed free WAEC/JAMB registration to students from the community.

And moved by the warm reception the people accorded him and his entourage, the Deputy Speaker also made further pledge to assist the community in equipping their health center.

He thanked the people of the community for their continues support for him and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu while assuring that he will always step in whenever he is called upon.

In their separate speeches, the image makers of the community (Ogborogbo Ogo), the President Eziafor Development Union (Home Branch) – Chief Okoro Okpan Okoro, the youth leader of the community – Mr. Kalu Akaeme and the Coordinator of Nwachinemere Foundation in Eziafor Community – Mr. Ikechi Odiba all thanked God for answering the prayers of the people of Ohafia by giving them a representative such as the Deputy Speaker.

They all narrated how the community had been neglected for years before the Rt. Hon. Deputy Speaker was handpicked by God to bring dividends of democracy to the people of the community and Ohafia South in General and vowed to give him all their support wherever, whenever and however he wants it.

They appreciated the Deputy Speaker in their own little way, by gifting himthe bags of garri, plantain and a goat while praying for his elevation to greater heights.

Present at the commissioning of the project were; Chief Dr. Dom Emeri (Member Board of Trustees, Nwachinemere Foundation/PG, Akanu Ohafia Development Union), Comr. Stephen Uduma (Chairman, Nwachinemere Foundation), Barr. Enyinnaya Orji (PDP Chairman, Isiama Ward), Comr. Udo Anaga Ibeh (Chief Of Staff to the Deputy Speaker) and other Aides of the Deputy Speaker.

Members of the Nwachinemere Foundation (Pet Project of the Deputy Speaker) in Eziafor Community were also present to receive the man of the moment.
